With the purpose of promoting and guiding new skills in the use of electrical and renewable energy, the 1st Maule Energy Congress 2017 will be held in Talca on November 28 and 29, which according to its CEO, Paula Villar, will be "a safe letter in the economic recovery of the region».
Although the Maule stands out for the production of electrical energy, with seven plants that generate 4,952 gigawatts, its geographical conformation and Mediterranean climate provide it with means to increase the energy supply, especially in the agricultural sector, which according to the item, requires injection in some phases of the production process.
The inclusion of renewable energies in this sector, as well as foreign investment, represent a reconditioning of the activities, in order to make them more efficient and effective, with greater profits for the economy of Chie and the region.
It is noteworthy that Maule Energía will have the participation of the Ministry of Energy, regulators, heads of public services, energy buyers, technology providers, developers, financiers and international organizations.
FOREIGN INVESTMENT
In Villar's opinion, foreign investors recognize the attractiveness of the Chilean economy and the region, as well as the world's energy industry. "The invitation is to get on this non-conventional renewable energy train," commented the CEO of Maule Energía, who also said that the purpose of the activity is to generate business awareness about the efficient use of the resource.

The organization will celebrate from October 17 to 19 the sixth edition of the BioBío Energy International Congress, at the University of Concepción, agenda and more than five years after which that region has experienced notable economic growth, which they hope to transpolate and promote in the Mauline region. .
When Villar was consulted about the reasons for moving the activity to the VII Region, he confessed that it is due to the potential of Maule in the matter, added to the recognized desire of entrepreneurs to invest nationally and internationally.
